We are looking for a Plant Controller to join our manufacturing site in Deventer and become a trusted business partner to site leadership.In this highly visible role, you will combine financial expertise with commercial and operational insight to help drive performance, improve profitability, and support key business decisions.What You'll DoAs Plant Controller, you will serve as the financial leader at the Deventer plant and work closely with both local management and corporate finance teams.Your responsibilities will include:Leading monthly financial reporting and management accounting activitiesSupporting plant leadership with cost analysis, profitability insights, and decision-making toolsDriving forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processesMonitoring manufacturing costs and identifying opportunities for operational improvementPerforming variance analyses and translating findings into actionable recommendationsManaging inventory accounting, fixed assets, and internal controlsSupporting capital investment projects through ROI analysis and expenditure trackingLeading cost reduction initiatives and helping improve overall site performanceEnsuring accurate and timely submission of budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and financial reportsWhat We're Looking ForYou are a hands-on finance professional who enjoys being close to the business and influencing outcomes.You bring:A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldApproximately 10 years of professional finance experienceStrong Dutch / English verbal and written presentation skills Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong cost accounting backgroundStrong analytical and business partnering skillsExperience with ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilitiesThe confidence to challenge the status quo and drive improvementsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levelsA proactive, results-oriented, and highly organized approachMBA, CPA, CMA, or experience with Activity Based Costing is considered an advantage.Why Join Trivium?Be part of a global sustainability leader with a Platinum EcoVadis ratingWork in a dynamic manufacturing environment where your impact is visible every dayCollaborate with talented colleagues across Europe and beyondEnjoy a culture that values ownership, entrepreneurship, and continuous improvementPlay a key role in driving operational and financial excellenceLocation📍 Deventer, The NetherlandsThis is an on-site position.
