With the M1 and MX Metal AM System, we empower businesses globally to produce their own 3D-printed metal parts in-house. As we expand, we’re looking for talented engineers to help us deliver cutting-edge solutions to our customers worldwide.

Your Role

As a Front-End Developer at MX3D, you’ll help develop the front end of our robotic 3D printer software, building and improving features for an intuitive user experience.

You’ll work with senior engineers on a modern web stack based on TypeScript, React, Zustand, Vite and Three.js/VTK.js. You will be developing and maintaining applications for toolpath design, process monitoring, and data analysis with 3D visualizations of geometries, sensor data and robotic digital twins.

The role involves high standards for product and code quality, with opportunities to contribute to architecture decisions and collaborate with both talented colleagues and advanced industrial robots.

Responsibilities include

-Contributing to the design and implementation of new features
-Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
-Supporting the improvement of the front-end architecture under guidance from a senior engineer
-Assisting with testing, releasing new versions, and ensuring smooth deployments
-Participating in code reviews and learning from feedback
-Collaborating with the team to address bugs and maintain high code quality
-Gathering and incorporating feedback from users and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related technical field
-Extensive experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
-Experience with React
-Proficient English and sound communications skills
-2+ years of experience in a similar role

The following skills are a plus:

-Experience writing unit tests
-Experience with Three.js or WebGL
-Experience with Docker and Linux
-Experience with Python
-Dutch language skills
