As a Data Engineer, you will develop AI functionalities that transform large amounts of greenhouse cultivation data into concrete, actionable insights for growers. You will design scalable LLM solutions, bring them into production, and support the data science team in transitioning from predictive analytics to Generative AI. In doing so, you will work closely with product and software development teams and contribute to further professionalizing AI and MLOps at LetsGrow.com. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating on Generative AI and LLM solutions, such as conversational interfaces and advisory features.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of data pipelines and AI systems in Python.
- Assisting in deploying and monitoring models in production and applying MLOps principles.
- Working together with product, software development, and data scientists on practical AI features.
- Learning from the experienced team and helping to further professionalize AI within LetsGrow.com.

You are a true team player and communicate openly. You also recognize yourself in the following:
- Around 2 years of experience with Python and working with LLMs.
- Experience with data engineering concepts (ETL, data pipelines) is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies (e.g., LangChain, Hugging Face, Azure AI).
- Analytical, eager to learn, and collaborative.
- Interest in data-driven solutions and the horticulture sector; prior experience in horticulture is not required;
- A valid work permit for the Netherlands is required; LetsGrow.com is not a sponsoring company.
